The Fibre Foundation – Free Your Mind

Fibre Foundation were hot stuff back in the mid-nineties, with DJs like Mark Farina in particular often caning «Free Your Mind» from the trio’s 1995 EP. Like many tracks of that period, it’s become something of hot slab of wax so Groovin has done the right thing and reissued it with four different mixes. The «UK Mix» is slick deep house with soul-fuelled chords finished off by some sweet vocal coos. If you’re after something more bumpin, check the «NJ Mix» that channels Kerri Chandler, and a heavy bonus dub with more propulsive drum work.
