OPIA’s sister label Euphoric State welcomes veteran producers Relative Progress for a classy new EP of richly detailed and direct deep house. ‘Getting There’ opens with a skeletal drum line that is eventually joined by turbo charged bass for a nice fluid and dynamic groove. ‘Heart ‘N’ Soul’ has dreamy melodies up top and shimmering perc over more arcing drums that are pure post rave bliss. The cosmic atmospheres continue on ‘Be Real’ with its silky Detroit grooves and silvery perc and ‘U Got Me Into This’ closes in more pensive, downbeat fashion. Super stuff.
