KG Beat – Breathing Engine EP

The Spanish outlet Coming From Returning To made its debut more than three years ago now with an EP from Jorge Gamarra that soon sold out, and finally after way too long it is back with a second offering, this time from KG Beat. Opener ‘Breathing Engine’ is a twisted and cosmic tech-funk pumper for psyched-out floors, then ‘Full Moon Escapade’ ups the ante with a prickly and percussive peak time workout. ‘You Can Fly’ then pulls back for some steamy tribal grooves and chunky house funk and last of all is the delightfully deep, low slung and mid-tempo allure of ‘The Spys Are Among Us.’
