Sounds Of The Suburbs – I Wont Stop / Against The Tide

Sound of the Suburbs has been busy of late and so has not one but two EPs dropping on this German label at the same time. Morpheus A features just two perfectly deigned tech house grooves. ‘I Wont Stop’ is up first and hurries you along with its quickened, razor sharp hi hats and bobbling drums overlaid with glassy percussive tinkles and woodpecker hits. ‘Against The Tide pulls off the same trick of being deep but direct – it rushes you onwards with its incessant claps and swirling chords conjuring a real sense of urgency.
