There will always be disagreement over exactly who discovered acid and when but Chicago’s DJ Pierre has always made a pretty strong claim. The Afro Acid label boss and Get Physical associate has put out many tracks exploring the famous sound of the Roland TB-303 and ‘Acid Love’ is one of them. It collides acid house and Donna Summer into a steamy tune that will have floors in raptures all over again thanks to this 2024 reissue.
