Daniel Poli ‎– Remixes

Fresh-faced London upsweller Daniel Poli sculpts the surrounding edges of UK minimal techno on Slow-Wave’s second white label release, bringing back two rare, historic and deep-probing remixes of a much-loved classic per side. Part of a series dedicated to ultra-rare remix specials, Poli visits the smoothest worlds possible within limits afforded by the deep house and techno form as seen in the UK, with tuned wood mallet syntheses and console calibration bleeps wrought heavily on his version of ‘Hose Down’, the debut Communicato communication by fellow mid-noughts naughties Timeless Banditz. Then Mass G’s later ‘Power Kill’ version veers ever more acidic. Pressed exclusively on vinyl with no repress planned, it’s a release aimed and fired at DJs especially, those seeking hard-to-find interpretations by the master reminder.
