Delta Funktionen – Black Endlessness

With over 25 releases to his name, this Dutch producer and DJ is one of leaders of a resurgent techno sound, explosive and darkly sci-fi. The three main tracks on this EP are taken from and reissued here from the 2015 record called Wasteland – Chapter II: Chasm Of Chills. ‘Black Endlessness’ is a dynamic blend of electro and techno, which is a great example of the style Delta does. For those that know his work well, this is one of his best. New for this EP is the Area Forty Piano Rework, which is an eerie version that plays more like a cinematic movie version than just an ambient version. ‘Pusher’ is a quirky techno track that is oddly fun yet very spacey while ‘A Drone Killed My Bunny’ is a more heavy and raw electro track that can dominate your speakers if turned up loud. While we would love to see more new Delta Funktionen music, at least we can get a great reissue of one of his best EPs.
