Dexter ‎– Android

UK tech house OG Dexter debuts two resurfaced tracks on a new white label series titled Slow-wave. Dexter, who has previously released on Wiggle and Beat Code, gives the joy of re-sharing ‘Android’ and ‘Stucco Soul’ to the new label, with these songs previously only having been available digitally. The tracks keep their 2008 sheen, whilst feeling like they could be an essential for the record bag to some of today’s finest selectors. ‘Android’ utilises robotic and echoed spoken word over a simple yet smooth bass and synth lead to create a song that really shows you sometimes less is more in the making of a house heater. On the flip side, ‘Stucco Soul’ takes more of an atmospheric stance to the genre, feeling like a journey into the haziness of day three of your favourite house-centric summer festival (without naming any names).
