Inermu keeps it classy with a new four tracker from Gudj, a 23 year old producer DJ from Manchester. ‘Touche’ opens with a woozy, soft focus blend of melodic daubs, rippling apes and silky bass that is fluid as you like. ‘Subtle Gravities’ keeps the same liquid approach to sound design and brings in deft, dubby minimal drums that fit with the so-called waft house sound. ‘Summer Dream’ has slightly sharper edges and more prickly percussion as it ups the pace and straightens your back then ‘Dreamwalk’ shuts down with more dreamy, cerebral soundscapes for real heads only.
