Kosh – Back on Track

Casablanca-based producer Kosh makes a slick Craigie Knowes debut with four agile cuts drawing lines between electro, techno, and acid with confident ease. ‘Back On Track’ opens proceedings in peak-time mode-wormy 303s threading through crisp drums and delayed stabs, building steadily without tipping over. ‘Breaksit’ softens the mood with lush pads and breaky swing, more introspective but no less club-conscious. On the flip, ‘Ridge Racer’ lives up to its title with a high-octane groove-bouncy, rubbery, and tightly arranged, it’s a clear DJ tool. Closer ‘Digital Dilemma’ dials in the Drexciyan influence, but Kosh brings a sense of warmth and looseness that feels distinctively his. It’s a focused, well-paced 12″, connecting Moroccan flair with Motor City DNA.
