Lb Honne – Brücke

Since debuting back in 2022, Zurich producer LB Honne has drifted between labels, serving up occasional slabs of seductive deepness and a couple of albums rich in nods to ambient, minimal and dub techno. Here he lands on much admired Hamburg stable Smallville, an outlet that certainly suits his rapidly developing trademark style. For proof, check the sunrise-ready yearn of attractive dub techno shuffler ‘Brucke’, where spoken female snippets and spacey synth motifs ride a deep, warm bassline and shuffling drums, and the dubby, intergalactic deep house/dubby tech-house fusion of ‘Not Tonight’. ‘Deeper’ is an oceans-deep affair ideal for those who just want to get lost in a dreamlike state-of-trance, while ‘Rue De Belfort’ is a slightly chunkier slab of tech-tinged house deepness.
