This is the producer’s third EP and it features four well-produced tracks from the Italian based up and coming artist. His ability to merge Italo heritage with the precision and drive of modern techno. These gems radiate both retro flair and forward-thinking production, balancing nostalgia with techno’s power. Opening track ‘Tribute To The Boss’ is a blinder with its heavy bassline and crisp drum programming nod to the past while sounding distinctly current. ‘Shadow’ follows with a stomping groove and cosmic effects, creating a hypnotic allure that’s hard to resist. On the second side, ‘Ask’ goes deeper into minimal tech house territory. It’s more stripped, raw and addictive, built around percussion and a focused rhythmic pulse. ‘Dance Flex’ closes the set with perhaps one of the best with its sharp drum hits and a wicked acid line that cuts through waves of dramatic synths. Feels like a journey through Italy’s electronic lineage, from disco’s futuristic roots to today’s industrial strength techno, unified by his precise production.
