Matthias Schildger Presents Acidsex – Inorganic Acids EP

European house heavyweights RAWAX kick off a new sub-label here with ACIDWAX, and Matthias Schildger has revived his Acidsex alias just for the occasion. The producer carries on where he left off with this one and drops four more jacked-up jams that take no prisoners. ‘Acid-Base Reaction’ is a gurgling 303 workout with snarling lines and moody bass, ‘Hydrochloric Acid’ is more unhinged and wonky with a constant sense of threat and ‘Sulfuric Acid’ blends a feeling of cosmic exploration with deeper bass and atmospheres. ‘Carbonic Acid (All Nite Long)’ shuts down with some wonderfully pinging kicks and refracted vocals designed for freaking out the floor when the strobes begin to flash.
