Electro veteran Robotron and the inimitable Egyptian Lover unite on the former’s aptly named label Skynet Cybersonix to deliver two tracks of sleazy, heads-down machine funk. Pornographix V1 is a more timeless Drexciyan outing, with the lover dropping some typically steamy phrases over a propulsive, stroboscopic synth bed, while V2 is a factory-issue coldwave stomper calling to mind the early machine erotica of Kraftwerk and newer klang from groups such as The Modern Institute.
