Submod X Shuray & Walle – Pellegrin EP

As a sublabel of respected French imprint Daydream, Ethernal was formed to focus specifically on micro house. On this latest link up with Submod and Shuray Walle, that mission has been achieved in fine style. ‘Pellegrin’ is the consummate stripped-down shuffler with pinprick hats, bouncing subs and crafty, wriggling synth lines, all the better for Trauma to get his hands on for a remix which takes the track into dreamy, after hours territory. ‘Zermatt’ is a more submerged affair with favours the mysterious, half-hidden dub approach to micro house, and sounds incredibly strong with it.
