Following 2024’s ‘Elektronically Minded’ EP, father and son duo The Advent and Zein Ferreira return to Cultivated Electronics with an equally potent second instalment. This new 12″ delivers three fierce electro cuts all jam-packed with punch and precision, crafted strictly for the dancefloor. Their unique generational synergy is on full display from the off with ‘Probe’ fizzing and spitting with real textural menace and tightly coiled rhythms. ‘Syncopated’ pairs dark and high-pressure low ends with zippy lines that bring more movement, then ‘Space Surfer’ has magnificently programmed drums and a sense of deep space odyssey. Rounding out the release is a deep, hypnotic remix from CE label boss Sync 24 who adds a trippy twist.
