Molecular Recordings continues to bring fresh ideas to techno with a 12″ that mixes up iconic artists from the label’s rich archive with fresh sounds from emerging producers. It’s pure deep techno linearity on Alexander Kowalski ‘s ‘Fractured Pulse’ then Audio Units explores a similarly smooth mix of mind-melting drums and astral synths on ‘Last Transmission.’ Arjun Vagale cuts loose with a freak afterparty head wrecker on ‘Rambutan’ and Jamie Bissmire get textured, muscular and more abstract on ‘Techno Tesseract.’ Drucal closes down by going deep once more with nice shimmering melodic colours on ‘Lagrimas.’
