Based in Italy, NORD LTD marks its tenth release with a split EP that captures the label’s dark, hypnotic pulse at full strength. Founder Shkedul opens the A-side with ‘Together’, a tunnelling slow-burner that fuses rolling percussion with subtle, evolving tension. ‘Mystic Drums’ digs deeper still – a ritualistic workout where reverb-drenched hits and ghostly atmospheres pull the listener inward. On the flip, newcomer Oho brings a sharper and more mechanical edge. ‘Like That’ snaps with electro swing and biting low-end pressure, while ‘Voice Of Dr’ closes with eerie vocal manipulations and an uncompromising 4am intensity. It’s a fitting landmark for NORD LTD – precision-built techno that thrives in the shadows.
